The Snowflake Lobos got plenty of love from football fans of the region in the Sports Zone's first ever FanZone voting for the White Mountain All-Region team.  The coaches get their picks, the experts here at the Sports Zone make ours - we thought it was time to give you the chance to make your picks.

Fans appreciated the level of talent present this season in Snowflake despite finishing behind Blue Ridge and tied with Round Valley and Show Low in the final regular season standings.  Round Valley actually finished higher than Snowflake in the Power Points.

Shawn Walker had a tremendous season running the Snowflake offense and fans voted for him ahead of the 3A East Region and State Offensive Player of the Year, Jake Meixler.  Rathen Ricedorff finished the season with 41 touchdowns passing and led the state in yardage, but still finished third in FanZone voting.

The biggest surprise may have been Brad Hutson's selection by fans as the top wide receiver in the region.  He had a strong year, but statistically finished behind Josh Weeks of Show Low and his own Snowflake teammate, Robby Martindell.

The Lobos made it three out of four offensive categories by having Jason McCray the top vote getter among offensive linemen.  McCray's closest competition came from junior Sheldon Jacks of Blue Ridge.

Show Low's Trevar MacArthur kept Snowflake from a clean sweep by edging the region's leading rusher, Keevan Schimmel, in the race for top running back.  Schimmel led the region in rushing with 908 yards, just 11 yards more than Lobo junior Ammon McKinlay, who finished third in voting.  Surprisingly, T-Mac finished with eighth in the region with 456 yards, but still managed to be the FanZone favorite.
